Crushing Limiting Beliefs

Hailey Gardiner crushing limiting beliefs new years resolutions goals start fresh

In just a few days, we’ll be saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new.

If you haven’t already started thinking about your goals and vision for next year, there’s no better time than the present!

I want to challenge you to make this coming year the best year of your life so far.

To fill it with moments of wonder, gratitude, love, and joy.

To overcome obstacles that you didn’t think were possible.

Sometimes, when it comes to what we think about our abilities, we are our own worst enemy.

I’m here to remind you that you are capable of infinitely more than you believe you are!

Start fresh this New Year.

What better time to CRUSH those limiting beliefs that are holding you back than right now?

So before you start setting goals and making plans, think about some of those core beliefs you’re holding on to that may not be true.

For the longest time, I listened to my inner critic tell me that I wasn’t pretty. That I wasn’t a good singer. That I wasn’t athletic. That I couldn’t make friends easily. That I would live my life being ruled by my anxiety and fear.

And guess what? This year I decided to challenge all of those limiting beliefs.

And then I went out and did all of the things that mean little voice in my head told myself I couldn’t do.

I ran a half marathon. I got back in the recording booth. I made new friends. I overcame my anxiety and showered myself with love and self acceptance for who I was today, knowing that tomorrow I could become even better.

I no longer listen to those limiting beliefs that pop up in my little self critical brain from time to time. I challenge them. I let them float on by.

In what ways are you limiting yourself?

What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

For me the answer is EVERYTHING!

So why not give something a try?

Maybe take a few minutes to write a list of the things you would do if you knew you were guaranteed to succeed.

Run a marathon. Record that song you wrote years ago and have been holding onto. Pick up your ukulele and learn how to play a favorite song. Make a new friend. Pick up that paintbrush. Call that relative you haven’t talked to in a while and patch things up.

The only person standing in the way of your dreams is YOU.

So get out of your own way!
