Happy Friday, everyone!
In case you missed our announcement on Instagram last week, we are so excited to share the news that we are having a baby!!
A BOY!
Carrying him feels like having a little bright light glowing within me all the time. I can’t even describe how much joy he brings to my heart already!
We feel so blessed and can’t wait to become parents!
Pregnancy:
I have really loved being pregnant!
It makes me smile every time I feel our baby get the hiccups or kick or wiggle inside me, and I feel so much gratitude to be having this incredible and miraculous experience.
A few things that I’ve enjoyed throughout my pregnancy include this Zoe Organics belly oil, this Dwell and Slumber comfy dress, and these ginger drops that have helped so much with the joys of morning sickness and nausea.
But most of all, I have loved taking lots of naps.
I was never a cat napper pre-pregnancy but LET ME TELL YA.
One of the great gifts of pregnancy is that I can now fall asleep anytime, anywhere. Such a blessing! Ha!
Inspiration: A Perfect Brightness of Hope

I recently came across this video on Instagram and then read the full talk by Jeffrey R. Holland called “A Perfect Brightness of Hope” that brought so much light and peace into my heart!
There has never been a better time to cultivate a spirit of hope and optimism than right now.
“I testify that the future is going to be as miracle-filled and bountifully blessed as the past has been. We have every reason to hope for blessings even greater than those we have already received.”
Jeffrey R. Holland – A Perfect Brightness of Hope
What a beautiful, hope-filled testimony!
I feel so abundantly blessed by my Heavenly Father, and the knowledge that even greater blessings than those I have already received are still on their way is so incredibly humbling.
Music: Lennon Stella

I’ve loved the Stella sisters since their “Call Your Girlfriend” days, and my younger and much more in-touch-with-new-music younger sisters introduced me to Lennon’s new album Three. Two. One.
I LOVE Lennon’s voice and songwriting, and especially appreciated her new music after watching this live acoustic version of “Golf on TV” featuring JP Saxe.
Recipes:
I’ve made this Lemon Pasta with Ricotta and Peas a couple of times this past month. This pasta tastes so fresh and is super easy to whip up on a weeknight for dinner.
Another new favorite dinner has been this simple and delicious Caprese Chicken with Smashed Potatoes from YOU GUESSED IT Pinch of Yum!
On the dessert front, my sister Allie made us homemade frozen yogurt recently and it was so good, we may or may not have purchased an ice cream machine just so we could make our own at home.
Send me all your homemade ice cream recipes because we are ALL IN!
Making Me Laugh:

I’ve been taking a long awaited trip down Disney Channel Original Movie memory lane and definitely watched High School Musical 2 and Stuck In The Suburbs this month…
OH.
WHAT GEMS.
These movies are worth watching for the outfits alone!! #BringBackLimitedToo
Now I have a whole list of DCOM’s I can’t wait to watch, including Cadet Kelly, Go Figure, Teen Beach Movie (which I’ve never seen) and Princess Protection Program.
I hope you’re all making the most of this wonderful transition into SUMMER!
Though our lives may look a little different right now (i.e. wearing a mask whilst going ANYWHERE), we can still find ways to connect and start new traditions in place of those that may not work out this year.
I still believe things are going to get better and we can make this summer so fun and memorable!
