One of the most beautiful parts about being a songwriter is that I get to tell stories.
Personal stories.
Stories about my life and the people in it.
And what happens when we share our stories?
Connection.
Somehow, even though we may not have met in person, many of you have expressed how you can relate to my songs and the stories I tell.
I love that more than anything!
I love that music allows us to connect to each other!
Sometimes it feel terrifying to put our hearts out there into the world.
We feel like we’re sending our precious experiences and moments to the wolves, and that they will tear us apart.
But I’m here to tell you that though there may be wolves lurking out there on the internet and in the world, most people are kind.
Most people are supportive.
Most people are good!
Your story is worth telling.
Get personal!
Because it’s in the sharing of those deepest parts of our human experience that we find common ground.
I’ll keep showing up and sharing these stories with you.
