The Best Green Smoothie

A simple, delicious tropical green smoothie made with coconut water, cucumber, green apple, spinach, kale, pineapple, and mango. Add wheatgrass powder, ginger, and lime if you'd like!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup cucumber chopped
  • 1 green apple chopped
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 handful kale stems removed
  • 1 heaping cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 heaping cup frozen mango
  • 1 knob raw ginger peeled
  • 2 tsp wheatgrass powder
  • 1 squeeze lime juice
  • 4-5 ice cubes

  2. First blend coconut water, cucumber and green apple until combined into liquid.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth! You may need to add a little more coconut water to get your blender going.

Notes

This recipe is really flexible. Try adding frozen banana and/or a scoop of avocado to make it extra creamy. You could also add a scoop of unflavored plant based protein powder.
